We have a very loyal, dedicated and experienced staff.  Here is a brief history of us in
the community.

Tom & Laurie Merritt
Tom and Laurie Merritt are the present owners of Merritt Funeral Home and the fourth
generation.  Tom received his Funeral Director License in 1986,  married Laurie in 1989
and both work side by side in the business.  

Ross Killins
Ross is one of our Funeral Directors Assistants.  Raised in the area, a retired dairy farmer
in Caistor, became one of our valuable staff in the early 1970's.  Ross keeps the
atmosphere warm with his country style and charm.

John Gannan
John  is one of our Funeral Directors Assistants.  John has lived in the area for many years
and has just retired as our local Fire Chief.  His care, compassion and dedication of being
Fire chief is reflected here in the care he has for our families.  

Terry Hornak
Terry  is one of our Funeral Directors Assistants.  Terry was our long-time neighbour and
is our latest employee.  Working in the area for many years, Terry is acquainted with many
of the local  families and is known for his care and attention.
