Myrtle Isobel Mewhiney 1938 - 2007
MEWHINEY, ISOBEL:  At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Monday, June 4, 2007, Myrtle Isobel Mewhiney in her 70th year.  Beloved wife of the late Lyle Robert Mewhiney (1990).  Loving mother of Robert and Lyn, and Wayne and Marie.   Cherished by her grandchildren Michelle, Michael, Sarah-Rose and Lindsay.  Dear sister of Harold Hilberg and his wife Elizabeth, and Donald Hilberg and his wife Agnes.  Predeceased by her sister Marilyn Vickers (1999) and her husband Ronald (1998), and brother-in-law Larry Booker (2005).  Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, June 5 from 7-9 pm, and on Wednesday, June 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  The funeral service will be held at Grassie Gospel Church, 204 Mud Street West, Grassie (Winona) on Thursday, June 7 at 1 pm.  Interment Queens Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.  If desired, memorial contributions to Grassie Gospel Church Missionary Fund or West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
