Margaret Gwyneth Crooks 1930 - 2008
CROOKS, MARGARET: At Henderson General Hospital in Hamilton on Sunday, March 16, 2008, Margaret Gwyneth Crooks (nee Potter) of Caistor Centre, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Burley Alfred Crooks. Loving mother of Anne Nie (Crooks) and the late Elton, Wallace and Susan Crooks, Doug and Cheryl Crooks, Sandra and Terry Ballantyne, and Lloyd and Annamaria Crooks. Cherished by her grandchildren Scott, Michelle, Jennifer, Jeremy, Valerie, Matthew, Christopher, Carrie-Lee, Daryl, Steven, Tyler, Ashley, James, Martin, Nicole, and great-grandchildren Brayden, Karissa, Riley, Aaron, Joshua, Dakota, Trenton and Jesse. Dear sister of Victor and June Potter, Luella and Bill Campbell, Russell and Grace Potter, and June and Gord Strickler. Predeceased by two infant children. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday from 2-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Merritt's United Church (corner of South Chippewa Road and Church Road in Caistor Township) on Friday, March 21 at 1 pm.
