Peter Leendert Pruysers 1938 - 2008
PRUYSERS, PETER:  At St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton on Saturday, August 23, 2008, Peter Leendert Pruysers of Smithville in his 71st year.  Beloved husband for 50  years of Margaret Jean Pruysers (nee Ruber).  Loving father of Susan and Wallace Crooks, Judy and Jim Allan, Dorothy and Jesse Oosterhoff, and Shelley and Martin Nedelko.  Cherished grandfather of Michelle and Kirk Mino, Jennifer and Patrick Whiteford, Valerie Crooks, Jeremy and Amber Crooks, David Allan, Brian Allan, Ryan and Vicki Oosterhoff, Darryl and Carolyn Oosterhoff, Matthew Oosterhoff, Kristi Oosterhoff, Marty Nedelko and Nicholas Nedelko and 8 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Ann and Gary Schievink.  Predeceased by his brother George Pruysers.  Friends may call at the Calvary Gospel Church, 4129 Hixon Street, Beamsville on Monday, August 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26 at 11 am at the church.  Interment Lane Cemetery, St. Anns.  If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation, or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
