SCHNICK, CARL: Suddenly at home on Friday, November 28, 2008, Carl Amiel Schnick of RR#3 Smithville, in his 51st year. Beloved son of Herbert and Jean Schnick (nee Scriver). Loving brother of Robert Schnick. Carl will also be missed by his many friends and co-workers at Dufferin Concrete in Beamsville. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 11 am at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 6441 Smithville Road (Regional Road 614), Smithville. Interment Union Cemetery, Smithville. If desired, memorial contributions to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
