| CUSHENAN, RICHARD: At Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, December 6, 2005, Richard Francis Cushenan of Caistor Centre, in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Sharon Cushenan (nee Zasada). Loving father of Grant and Anita Graham of Hamilton, Mark and Patty Graham of Hamilton and Shannon and Brad Churchward of Paris, Ontario. Cherished by his grandchildren Kassie, Alyssa, Harleigh, Jade, Parker and Campbell. Dear brother of Bob and Gerrie Cushenan of Hamilton, and dear son-in-law of Yvonne Raskob. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Doug Cushenan (1989). Rick was a long-time employee of Firestone, Bridgestone/Firestone Canada. Friends called at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Prayers at 7 pm. The funeral service was held at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville, on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 11 am. Interment at the church's adjoining cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home. |
