| DIEK, VROUWKJE: Taken by The Lord at Shalom Manor in Grimsby on Monday, March 28, 2005, Vrouwkje Diek (nee Voerman) formerly of St. Anns, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Hendrik Diek (1998). Loving mother of Hans Diek and his wife Rose of St. Anns, and Minnie and her husband Jake Aikema of Surrey, BC. Cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren Nathan and his wife Aileen Diek of St. Anns; Stephanie and her husband Rob Van Middelkoop of Hamilton and their children Marrietta, Rebecca and James; Cameron Diek, Valerie Diek of St. Anns; Vickie Aikema, David Aikema, the late Denise Aikema, Roger Aikema, and Gregory Aikema all of Surrey, BC. The Funeral Service was held at the Attercliffe Canadian Reformed Church on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 1:30 pm. A private interment at Melick Cemetery preceded the funeral service.
