| McINTYRE, JEAN BERNICE: Peacefully, at the United Mennonite Home in Vineland on Friday, April 1, 2005, Jean McIntyre formerly of Smithville, in her 84th year. Jean was a long time employee of Bell Canada. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth and nephews Jack and his wife Sandra, and Lorne, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Earl, Rupert, and Jack, and a sister Donna. The funeral service was held on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 2 pm at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville, with Rev. Dale Massender officiating. Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery. The pallbearers were Jack McIntyre, Jeff McIntyre, Vic Langdon, Murray Comfort, Daniel Caruso and Willis Copeland. Special thanks to Dr. Woodland and the wonderful staff at the United Mennonite Home who offered Jean such kind, gentle and compassionate care. |
