| MERRITT, BEVERLY: September 28, 1923 - March 1, 2005 - Peacefully, surrounded by love and family at Shaver Rehabilitation Hospital. The son of the late Daniel J. and M. L. (Ella Hill) Merritt leaves behind his beloved wife of sixty-one years, Helen Twila Pearson. Left to celebrate his life are six children: Donna (James) Real; Helen (Ivan) Baltus; Paul (Carolyn); John (Virginia); Valerie (David) Goodfellow; Sean (Susan); fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is survived by sisters-in-law Gloria (Hans) Christiansen and Edith Pearson (Fred) Waters, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. A private family funeral service was held, with interment at Kimbo Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health would be appreciated by the family.
