| MONGER, OLIVE: Peacefully, on Sunday, August 7, 2005, surrounded by the love of her family, Olive Monger (nee Carter) of Smithville in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Bernard (Bernie) George Monger. Olive and Bernie recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Devoted and loving mother of Lynda Vanderheyden of Grimsby, Michael and Sharon Monger of Hamilton, Diane Dubeau of Ottawa and Paul Dubeau of Sudbury, Lisa and Larry Nicholls of St. Catharines and Cathy and Jim Eybel of Grimsby. Cherished by her 11 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Ethel Marshall of England. Predeceased by her brother Walter Carter and sisters Florence May Vincent and Violet Carter. Olive will also be fondly remembered as “Old Geezer” as a leader of Brownies in Fruitland. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 11 am at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 216 Station Street, Smithville.
