| STOLYS, WILLIAM OTTO: Peacefully, at Heritage Green Home in Stoney Creek, surrounded by family on Sunday, January 9, 2005, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Ann for 43 years. Dear father of Lisa (Don) Switzer, Heidi (Glenn) Burgess, John (Kim) Stolys and Krista (Graeme) Weir. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Nadine and Bradley Burgess, Brady and Brett Switzer, Kyle, Ryan and Nicole Stolys and Hunter Weir. Sadly missed by sisters Ida Romanovski and Marie Stanat and sister-in-law Barb Stolys. Predeceased by his brother Adolf Stolys and brothers-in-law Alfred Romanovski and Paul Stanat. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ever remembered by dear friends Arthur and Verna Urbshas. A great family man and community supporter who farmed in Caistor all his working years and spent 42 years at Domtar in Caledonia. Friends called at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service was held at Caistorville United Church on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 11 am, with a reception in the Church Hall following burial in the Caistorville United Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Caistorville United Church would be appreciated by the family. |
