| VANDER VELDE, FENNEGIEN: Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Saturday, July 23, 2005, Fennegien (Fenny) Vander Velde of Smithville passed away to be with her Lord and Saviour in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Fredrik Vander Velde. Loving mother of Dianne De Boer, Henry and Ellen, John and Leona, Irene and John Schutten, Joanne and Henry Kiers, Betsy and Harry Porter, Ricki and Jerry Blokker, Fred and Evelyn, Arthur and Jeanie and Hennie and Andrew Vos. Beloved Oma of 38 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren. Also survived by one brother in Holland. Predeceased by two brothers and sons-in-law Harry Brouwer and Mike De Boer. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to be led by Rev. C. Bosch at the Canadian Reformed Church, 330 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at 11 am. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
